Hand knitted headbands

Description

Hand knitted using the high quality 4 ply yarn from Border Reiver’s white fleece or the double knit fawn yarn from Aeryn.  These  beautiful very soft headbands are slightly wider so ideal if you want to keep your ears warm but have your hair in a ponytail.  All our items are 100% natural undyed alpaca fibre and hand knitted locally by Lynda using the yarn from the fleece of the alpacas here at Starrywell.  Alpaca yarn is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fibre whilst similar to sheep's wool, it is warmer, not prickly and has no lanolin making it hypoallergenic.

For best results handwash is always recommended using cool water and a mild detergent specifically for woollens.
